Delete your MarineWise account

Applies to the MarineWise website and the MarineWise Android app (co.marinewise)

You can permanently delete your MarineWise account at any time, from any device. Deletion cannot be undone.

What is deleted

Your sign-in account, name, email address and profile details
Your AI assistant conversations and the images in them
Your notes, note images, study materials you uploaded and your study progress
Your examination history, lesson progress, career goals and settings
Your Teams and chat messages and the files you shared in them; Teams you own are deleted with their messages
Your profile photo and any instructor application, including the ID card you uploaded

What may be kept

Encrypted backups are overwritten on a rolling basis, so copies may remain in them for up to 30 days. Payment records for MarineWise Pro purchases are kept by our payment provider and by us where the law requires it (for example tax records). Feedback you sent is kept without your name or account link.

How to delete

In the app or on the website: open Settings, scroll to Delete account, type DELETE and confirm.
